Brief Instructions
A) Search in a single text: Search for an author via the alphabet or by typing the name into the search field.
Filter and sort the columns by clicking on the triangles (see how to...). Choose in the function column:
1. "Full text view" |
| shows the full text (for some texts you need to register first). |
2. "Lemmatization info view" | shows the state of lemmatization by a statistics and through a color code for different levels of lemmatization | |
3. "Download TEI-Source" | click here in order to download the file in TEI P5-format. | |
4. "Compute term list" |
| shows the frequency of all words in a text (lemmatized). |
5. "Get a semantic field" |
| search for all occurrences of a term (e.g. "ecclesia") and get the frequency of all words that appear in the same sentences. |
The result tables - the term list or the co-occurence list - will be displayed below. You can click on each term
to get a list of the respective sentences (if logged in). Download your tables with the download button .
B) Search in several texts: Choose several texts and click on the buttons and under the table. If you want to search over more texts than can be displayed on one page, please use the paging to include all texts the analysis shall include.
6. "Compute term list +" | get the list with the frequency of all words in all selected texts (e.g. all texts of Alcuin of York) | ||
7. "Search for a term +" | | search for all occurrences of a term in all selected texts (e.g. "ecclesia" in all texts of Alcuin of York) and get the frequency of all terms that appear in the same sentences. | |
8. "Download TEI-Source for selected Texts" | download several selected texts in TEI P5-Format | ||
9. "Report Error" | report errors in a table to the redaction |
C) Compare word lists: If you have created more than one "term list" or "search term list", these lists
will be displayed in different tabs. You can
6. "Compare statistics" |
| compare the existing lists. The result will be displayed in another tab as two different lists: "intersection" (term in all lists) and "difference" (term missing at least in one list). |
